The protection of your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy informs you about which data we collect when you visit this website and how we use it. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP/DSG) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Cookies, web analytics & marketing
Without your consent, we do not set any tracking cookies and do not load any analytics tools. We store your choice in the cookie banner locally in your browser (local storage) so that the banner does not reappear on every visit. Fonts are served locally from our own server – no connection to Google servers is established.
Microsoft Clarity (Statistics)
Only if you consent to the “Statistics” category do we use Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation (One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA) or, for users in Europe, by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Clarity records how you interact with our website – such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behaviour and pages visited – and presents this as heatmaps and session recordings. Input in form fields is masked in the process. In addition, device and browser information and a truncated IP address are processed. For this purpose, Clarity sets cookies (e.g. _clck, _clsk) with a storage period of up to one year.
The purpose is to analyse and improve our website. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 6(6) and (7) FADP). A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; it takes place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified, and additionally on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information: clarity.microsoft.com/terms and Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Google Analytics 4 (Statistics)
Only if you consent to the “Statistics” category do we use Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics records how visitors use our website (e.g. pages visited, time spent, origin, device, approximate location, clicks and loading times) and presents this statistically. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. Cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*, storage period of up to 2 years) are set. We use Google Consent Mode: without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.
Google Ads conversion tracking (Marketing)
Only if you consent to the “Marketing” category do we use the conversion tracking of Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited). This allows us to measure whether visitors send an enquiry after clicking on one of our Google ads, and to optimise our ads. In the process, cookies (e.g. _gcl_au, storage period of up to 90 days) are set and data such as ad click identifiers, device data and IP address are processed.
For Google Analytics and Google Ads, a transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework respectively. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.
LinkedIn Insight Tag (Marketing)
Only if you consent to the “Marketing” category do we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland). It enables us to carry out conversion measurement, retargeting and anonymised analyses of visitors (e.g. industry or professional field) on the basis of cookies (e.g. li_fat_id, bcookie, storage period of up to 1 year). A transfer to the USA is possible; LinkedIn is certified under the Data Privacy Framework. Further information: LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
Source of enquiries
If you reach our website via a link containing campaign parameters (e.g. from an advertisement or a newsletter), we transmit these parameters (e.g. utm_source, utm_campaign) and the referring website together with your contact enquiry, so that we can understand which measure led to your enquiry. No cookies are set for this purpose. We only transmit ad click identifiers (e.g. gclid, fbclid) with your marketing consent.
Meta Pixel (Marketing)
Only if you consent to the “Marketing” category do we use the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland). This allows us to measure whether visitors access our website or send an enquiry after clicking on one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram (conversion measurement), and to deliver our ads in a more targeted manner. In the process, data including pages visited, device data, IP address and cookie identifiers (e.g. _fbp, _fbc, storage period of up to 90 days) are processed. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may associate this information with your account.
If you submit the contact form after having given marketing consent, we additionally transmit a “Lead” event to Meta server-side (Conversions API). Your email address and your name are transmitted exclusively as an irreversible hash value (SHA-256), not in plain text.
For the joint processing with Meta, there is a joint controllership agreement (Art. 26 GDPR): facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 6(6) and (7) FADP). A transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU-U.S. or Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Meta is certified. Further information: Meta Privacy Policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, separately for each category and with effect for the future – via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of this website.
3. Hosting & server
This website is hosted on a server operated by us, which we rent from Gericke KG (MC-HOST24.de, Mühlenstr. 8a, 14167 Berlin, Germany). The data is processed in Germany.
When the website is accessed, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system information) in order to deliver the page and protect it against misuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not keep permanent access logs. To protect against automated attacks, IP addresses are retained for a maximum of 24 hours for form submissions and are then automatically deleted.
4. Contact form & email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally company and project type, and your message) exclusively for the purpose of handling your enquiry and for any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.
To send the form emails, we use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). In the process, the form data is transmitted to Resend and processed there for the purpose of email delivery. The transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Further information: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Your enquiry is additionally stored in our own database on the server mentioned above so that we can process and follow it up. We store it until the purpose has been fulfilled or statutory retention periods have expired. Daily backup copies of the database are automatically deleted after 14 days.
5. Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable data protection law, you have the following rights at any time:
- Access to the data stored about you
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure or restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to the processing and withdrawal of any consent given
- Lodging a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the FDPIC/EDÖB)
To exercise your rights, an email to n.colyer@colyer-commerce.ch is sufficient.
6. Data security
This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS) throughout. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
7. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The current version published on this website applies. As of: 5 October 2026
